Hi! I'm Sam. I'm a reseacher who just finished her PhD at ETH in biology. I've been in Switzerland since 2019. I came over from the United States to Denmark with my Cat, Anja, in 2017 and we have now made our way to Switzerland. I've needed to travel a lot while studying, and I know how stressful it can be to find the right sitter for your pet. i started using Pawshake to find someone to watch Anja while I was away, and want to be able to help others find a reliable, friendly person to take care of their furry family while they are away.

I grew up with pets as a child including cats and dogs and I have experience with fish and small pets such as hamsters and rabbits, but mainly cats and dogs. I also have some experience workign with exoitic pets such as geckos, snakes, and bearded dragons. 

I was frequently a pet sitter during my time in Denmark, where I mainly watched cats and dogs, as well as sugar-gliders. I also have experience in providing timed medication to cats.

I will make sure that your pets are well taken care of, which includes feeding, playing, cleaning up messes and walking them if needed. I am happy to take care of your pet and house while you are away, so you can enjoy your trip! I also provide pictures and updates daily, to provide you peace of mind.
