Hi! We’re Martin (24) and Alexia (26), a couple who have loved animals for as long as we can remember. Alexia works remotely from home as a programmer and has a professional background in animal care: she worked as a dog groomer for 3 years and has completed a veterinary assistant course. Together we’ve fostered dogs twice with a local rescue in Spain and looked after several dogs over the years, always as a team. Fostering taught us how much patience, routine and attention a dog needs to feel safe in a new place, and that’s exactly what we bring to every stay. Your pet won’t be left alone for hours. Alexia’s flexible schedule means we can adapt to your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. We’re around during the day for walks, play, meals and company, and we’re happy to follow your pet’s routine closely: feeding times, medication, favourite walking route, bedtime habits. We send photo and video updates during every stay, so you can relax knowing how they’re doing. What we offer: Home boarding: your pet stays with us for the night or longer, with meals, 3-4 walks a day, play and plenty of attention Dog walks: about 45-60 minutes, at a pace that suits your dog, in the forest nearby We care for dogs and cats. We can take up to two dogs at a time, and for cats we prefer to look after just one at a time, unless they come from the same household and are used to being together. Alexia is comfortable giving medication thanks to her veterinary assistant qualification, and since she’s a trained groomer, we can also offer basic grooming during longer stays: brushing, nail trimming and a bath if your dog needs one. Our home is a small, quiet flat that we share with no one else. Guest pets sleep in their own bed or with us, whichever they feel most comfortable with. There’s a forest nearby, perfect for walks. We’re available weekdays and weekends, and flexible with timings. Between us we speak Spanish, English and fluent Swiss German, and Alexia is learning German, so we can chat with you in whichever language is easiest. Tell us about your pet’s personality and needs.
