Hi! 

I’m Elena, and I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Chocolate Labradors, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I genuinely love being around them and have always enjoyed taking care of them, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel safe and happy.

Over the years, I’ve had quite a bit of hands-on experience with dogs. One of my dogs had a litter of five puppies, and I was very involved in taking care of them from the moment they were born. I helped look after them, made sure they were happy and healthy, and was lucky enough to see all five eventually go to loving families.

I’ve also fostered two dogs: Dande, a sausage dog, and Teddy, a Cockapoo. Fostering taught me how important it is to be patient and adaptable, especially when a dog is adjusting to a new environment or has their own particular needs and personality.

My current dog, Gremmy, is a French Bulldog whom I rescued and consider to be the love of my life. She stayed with my mom in Canada when I moved away from my family home, and I miss her enormously. Being away from her has left a pretty significant dog-shaped hole in my life, which is one of the reasons I would genuinely love the opportunity to care for your dog.

When looking after a dog, I want them to feel comfortable, loved and cared for, while also respecting their usual routine. Whether they need long walks, playtime, cuddles, company, or simply someone nearby while they relax, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them happiest.

I would love to give your dog the same love and attention I give my own, and hopefully get some much-needed dog time in return

I’m available for dog walking and dog sitting in the Geneva area. 

While my own apartment unfortunately isn’t pet-friendly, I’m more than happy to stay at your home and care for your dog in their familiar environment. I can follow their usual routine, take them for walks, play with them, give them plenty of attention and cuddles, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away.
