Hello/Ciao/Bonjour/Hallo! My name is Ziva and I recently moved from Canada to study at USI Lugano but I'm originally from Geneva 🇨🇭

I've been a huge dog and animal lover all my life, riding horses since I could walk, dog sitting and volunteering at animal shelters before adopting my very own dog in 2017: Mila!

Mila and I had years of adventures together, moving to different cities together, going on hikes and much more. Unfortunately, Mila passed away late last year before I moved here and now that I'm settled in Lugano, I'd love to be able to spend time with dogs again!

I have multiple years of experience dog sitting plus owning my own dog for almost 10 years. I can handle a variety of dogs of different sizes and temperaments and all their unique needs! At the dog shelter, I walked and took care of dogs of many different personalities. My dog Mila was sometimes a bit defensive with other dogs so I know how to handle dogs who have socialization issues. I'm flexible with walk lengths, from 15 minute quick walks to an hour long adventure (when the weather allows it!), I'm happy to do it all.

For house sitting, I like to match the pet's temperament. If they prefer to lounge around and cuddle, or go on long walk, or play. Whatever is needed! I hope you'll consider me to take care of your furry family 😊

As I am a student, my schedule is very flexible so I am happy to discuss scheduling as needed. Weather depending, I'd be happy to take your furry friend around Lugano, walking by the water, going to parks, and discovering the city and nature!

I speak French, English, German and I have started to learn Italian!
